Just been treated to lunch at the Gardeners. It was great to have a completely different menu. One of the group has a gluten and lactose allergy. No problem, as all the meals are individually prepared and cooked on the premises mine host was able to offer a suitably modified meal. Great service and excellent meals.

We stopped overnight on the canal and were recommended this pub for evening dinner. The football World Cup UK vs Croatia was on and there was a tv in every part of the back garden. Wherever you sat you could see a tv there must have been 5 tvs out there. The orders and cook work in an outback part of the garden. Our orders were complicated by one gluten free meal but all meals came together and we enjoyed out 2 hrs there with 3 ten yr olds and 4 adults. The kids play monopoly on one table very relaxing pub glad we went there. We are Aussies on a one week canal tour.
