The Getaway on Lake Como

Breakfast is awesome. Soooo many choices. I’m a gluten allergy and those biscuits looked amazing! So jealous of those that can partake in biscuits and gravy and pancakes!! Dinner was lovely. I love atmosphere at this place. Not a bad seat in the house. Can be very loud so don’t expect a quiet romantic dinner. Blackened grouper was great. Will be coming back.

I came into The Getaway when they first opened, and more recently got take-out. Both times, the food was so phenomenal. I'm the type of person that when I go out to eat[which isn't often, I like to cook] but by the end of the meal I come to the conclusion I could have cooked whatever I had that night better. Not this place!! Their filet was done to perfection both times. The bruschetta was great. Lobster bisque I had to order again because it was so good. I also tried the shrimp scampi with gluten-free noodles, and it was one of the best I've ever had. And the cheesecake to finish everything up was awesome. Highly recommend!! It's definitely worth the money.
