The Godolphin

I had the truly great pleasure of dining at Shutters at the Godolphin last night. What a treat! This was my first visit and I'm sure to come again. Everything was just lovely. From the warm welcome to the fantastic ambiance (with the best music!), the outstanding views and the most delicious food. They even made sure to look after my food intolerance, and their menu was clearly marked with gluten-free and vegan/vegetarian options. I cannot recommend this place enough!

From the moment we stepped in, the entire experience was outstanding. Greeted with warm smiles, we were welcomed to our stunning room. Every corner was adorned with thoughtful touches, from funky lamps adding ambiance to a retro bar cart stocked with wine and gin for purchase. The fridge held local milk and gluten-free brownies. Situated in the picturesque area of Cornwall, with a direct view of Saint Michael's Mount, this was one of the most dog-friendly hotels we've encountered. Dogs were welcome everywhere, and we even received a dog blanket to keep. The staff exuded genuine happiness, making our stay memorable. We'll definitely return!
