Despite it being busy, we were seated quickly and our server, Charlotte, was really friendly, helpful, and especially knowledgable about the gluten free options. Sunday roasts were up to the usual excellent Vintage Inns standard and it’s not the cheapest, but you definitely get what you pay for.

We visited the pub on a Saturday lunchtime for a gathering of friends to celebrate an upcoming wedding. Our waitress Issy was so good at managing the 10 of us, knowing when to come in and serve and when to leave us. She was chatty, funny and a delight to have looking after us. The food was great, I had the bacon chop, egg and chips and it was delightful, the gluten free crumble was a bit of a hit too! Highly recommended.
