The Grand Atlantic Hotel

Stayed here over the weekend and I can not fault the rooms, service and facilities. The lifts were broken so they helped us with our bags to our rooms. Rooms were spacious, yes there was the odd marks on the wall from wear and tear, but that's to be expected with such an old building. They even catered for Gluten Free food, which was a wide choice. Will definitely be staying here again

Staff 1st class....customer focused, elderly friendly.....Old fabulous Victorian building....breakfast full of choices and great value..3 course dinner 4/5 options for each course..including vegetarian.but not sure on gluten free options or vegan..... The slight let down was the room...nothing major just little things... lots of paint chips on doors, shelves...looks like the gloss paint had been painted over with a Matt or an eggshell paint which just chipped off at the least provocation, a line of cracked plaster showing on one of the walls, dirty coffee cups, stained carpet and a large bay curtain that wouldn't fully close that we clipped together with coat hangers... However, don't be put off....the sea view was fabulous and the room spacious......and the service is well worth returning too...
