The Grill At Quarterfield Station

Pleasant place for a Saturday lunch with the family. Food was excellent. Our waiter was gluten free and understood the needs of our daughter and granddaughter.

Although not close enough to home to be a regular stop for me, I'm always delighted to be in the area around breakfast time, so I can swing in and get their huevos rancheros. I honestly can't review much of anything else in the menu, because that is always what I get. I think they're the best I've had anywhere: generous well-balanced portions of eggs, beans, cheese, guacamole, sour cream, and wherever else. The ambiance is nice too. Very much a local diner vibe, with the clink of coffee cups and murmer of elderly people lingering over their meals and the background hum of the kitchen. The black and white historic photos of the area on the walls are the perfect touch. The dessert options look mouth-wateringly decadent, although not gluten free, so I haven't tried them myself. And prices are decent. Worth checking out.
