We had lunch with two friends who had eaten here before. Lovely restaurant. Good menu and we went with the November menu. All three courses were delicious and we all enjoyed the food. One of our party needed gluten free food and there was good allergy advice from the server. Good service though our only gripe was that one if our friends ordered a coffee that was served in a glass with no handle which made it difficult to drink without wearing thick gloves. Why??

Allergen menu (accessed only through their WiFi and not working QR code) is completely wrong meaning as a coeliac I was prohibited from ordering almost anything. Not a single thing marked as gluten free or safe to order, considering how common and popular it is now. You have to order each course at the bar which is stupid and ruins the atmosphere, and I was charged a non optional service on each dish until I queried it.
