The Hideaway

Some clearly marked gluten free items. Parking at busy times is a little tricky but the food and service were very good. It is wheelchair accessible and you could get around easily with a walker but would recommend going early or at a non busy time for best results. They can handle larger parties of 6-8. Anymore and I would recommend calling ahead.

Food is amazing I've only ever tried three things off the menu one being the fatty melt which is a bacon cheese burger made with a grilled cheeses (the buns for the burger is grilled cheese! Amazing ....the brisket tasted lovely but portion wise it was small, (not worth it in my opinion and last but not least , my personal favorite is the spicy fried chicken ! It's so amazing the recipe is flawless leaves me wanting more every time it is indeed hard to imitate this seasoning , me being a chef , I would know. Love this place , if you like drinks go with the smoked old fashioned served with beauty and also any of the crushes . There amazing. Ooo and by the way they do have gluten free options! It's amazing , I deff recommend the spicy chicken if you are gluten free!

Very crowded on a mid-October Saturday afternoon. After parking well down the street, I learned there was a wedding reception. The lot appeared large enough for normal days. Firstn my extreme gratitude to sever Alexa who warned me the French fries are coated and not gluten-free. She also made sure the ice cream for my nut allergy granddaughter was as uncontaminated as possible. My hideway burger (no bun) was very juicy and cooked to medium perfection. My wife had a crabby potato that had to weigh at least two pounds. I don't understand mixing crab meat and pork, but she enjoyed the mix. My daughter hardly made a dent in her four pieces of smoked fried chicken although she liked the flavor. I think she should have skipped the blueberry rib appetizer and eaten more of her meal. Grandkids and Mac and cheese. Enough said.
