Absolutely outstanding experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and beautifully styled — the perfect setting for a relaxing meal. What really impressed us, though, was the thoughtful attention to gluten-free options. As someone who has to eat gluten-free, it’s such a treat to find a restaurant that not only accommodates but excels in it. We enjoyed the roast lamb and the fish pie, both of which were packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. The lamb was tender and full of rich, savory notes, while the fish pie was comforting and creamy without feeling heavy. And yes — both completely gluten free! Dessert was another highlight. The chocolate nut dessert was indulgent and satisfying, while the pavlova was light, crisp, and topped with the freshest fruit — a perfect end to the meal. Again, all gluten free and absolutely delicious. The staff were fantastic — friendly, knowledgeable, and professional throughout, striking that perfect balance of attentive without being intrusive. Highly recommended. We’ll definitely be back!

Just had an extended lunch in the Huntsman with my friends. The food was fab and of the highest quality. Our server was Olivia who was super and went over and above to check we were all ok, a few times during our meal , and could not do enough for us. Chatted with us and was so so pleasant As some of us are gluten intolerant, we asked Olivia about this, and she asked the chefs and came back with the options that we could have. I must say, this is not the norm in most restaurants and compliment Olivia and the chefs in this. Well done to the owners who have such diligent, thoughtful, helpful and knowledgeable member of staff in Olivia, you are truly blessed. A great asset to the company. A 10 star ⭐️ from us for The Huntsman and for Olivia. We will be back.
