My favourite cafe in the area! I’m always impressed by their menu, especially by how many vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options they have. The atmosphere is great and service is always so friendly. Highly recommend checking it out!!

Went here for first time on Sunday with a friend to catch up and I had a utterly fantastic time here. Hands down they have the best tasting espresso in the city. I had a Cordado (two in fact) and it I was addicted by the end of the my visit. Food wise I arrived famished and started with a wonderful Chicken, bacon and Avocado sandwich. I had to resist the temptation to order any number of scrumptious looking baked good in an expansive display case. They even have a few Gluten Free Bars that I will be bringing at least one other person here to try as they looked divine. Later on I was tempted by am amazing looking banana muffin, but I saw what looked like a Croissant sandwich peeking underneath a panini press and they said it was a breakfast sandwich. I got the last one that was veggie only, but asked if I wanted to add bacon. I will never turn down bacon. So having lunch and then breakfast was perfectly acceptable in this instance as it was so yummy with mayo and siracha. As things slowed down the owner came out and asked how things were going and if I had tried the soup. I said I did not and he promptly brought out a ramekin of a shockingly taste roasted tomato and red pepper soup. Normally I don't like that type of soup but it was just perfectly balanced of savoury and rich, with a subtle sweetness and spiciness. Lastly, in my excitement I had totally missed they had Kawartha Dairy Ice Cream. I had a bowl overflowing with Chocolate Peanut Putter and Salted Caramel Truffle (my two favourites), taking the banana muffin home in a doggy bag. To say I was impressed is an understatement. I will be back again and again to this wonderful establishment.
