I can't sing the praises of the food at The Jazz Corner enough. From appetizers to mains, to desserts and cocktails, everything was prepared with excellence and the consideration of gluten free options was greatly appreciated. The service was also outstanding, unobtrusive and experienced. The musicianship of the performers matched the quality food, drink and service. It was clear that everyone on stage knew their craft and enjoyed offering their music to the audience. Unfortunately, the star of the show, Bobby Ryder, crossed the line from crooner to lounge lizard. His choice to force a young woman to join him on stage and take a shot of liquor with him was just creepy. He knew that, in his spotlight, it would be awkward for such an audience member to decline, so he forced his will upon this young woman, forcing the audience to watch as he pathetically padded his ego. I hope, in the future, Bobby, his band, and the Jazz Corner establishment will not subject another young woman and the audience to this sort of gross misogyny.
