One of the most warmly welcoming places I've stayed. The service is excellent. Staff are lovely. The food is good too and they cater well for those of us who eat gluten free.

Although we did not stay at the hotel we did have dinner here while staying in the area. My wife is Coeliac so we were pleasantly surprised to find a very good GF menu available. Also special mention to Sophie who took special attention to make sure my wife's food was prepared in a clean GF area. My wife went for the stuffed chicken main while I had the Venison burger which was delicious. We both had the Squash soup for starter. All in all we were pleased with the food and the staff were very good.

The food was absolutely delicious here. We came here especially for the gluten free menu (I'm Coeliac) and the pub is dog friendly. The staff were completely lovely and gave the dog a fuss! I had the belly pork which melted in my mouth. We'll definitely be back when we're back in the area. Absolutely recommend!
