We went to The Kitchen a couple of weeks ago for a business dinner, and it was outstanding. There were five of us—three locals and two from out of town (including me). I have to eat gluten-free, and I’m usually disappointed by limited options in swanky restaurants, but nearly everything here was naturally gluten-free and absolutely delicious.
Our host insisted we try the carrots as an appetizer—which sounded odd—but they were one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Cooked carrots with whipped feta, pistachio cream and cilantro and mint and some other things I’ve forgotten. Crazy.
We ordered dinner family-style and got to sample a wide variety of dishes. Every bite was fresh, local, and packed with flavor. I went with the cast iron chicken.
Because we booked late, we were seated upstairs, which actually worked out better—it was quiet and perfect for conversation. Drinks were great, service was fantastic. Highly recommend!
