Oh, my goodness. This was the second time I visited Kitchen Table for brunch and it was just as impressive as the first.
I ordered the eggs Benedict with broccolini and gluten free toast. The hollandaise sauce was the best I’ve ever had, and I’m admittedly a sauce snob. Perfectly salted and lemony, without being overly thick or rich.
The French toast that my partner ordered was a delicious combination of lightly crisped crust and thick and fluffy insides.
The server was so friendly and attentive, and really in tune with how frequently to stop by our table. She refreshed our coffees without us having to ask, and was knowledgeable about the menu and local ingredients.
This place is a diamond in the rough of Vermont eateries. Extremely high quality food and service, local ingredients, and to top it all off, reasonable prices in today’s economy. Well done, and see you soon Kitchen Table!
(I would have shared photos but I was too hungry and the food was too good.)
