The Lemon Tree Cafe and Catering

I absolutely loved my visit to Lemon Tree Café! 🍋✨ Tucked alongside the cutest little bookstore, it’s the kind of spot that makes you want to linger all afternoon. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and full of charm. As someone who is gluten-free, I was so impressed by their options. The bread was delicious (soft and flavorful—not always easy to find when GF!) and the gluten-free cookies were such a treat. Everything tasted fresh and made with care. Pair that with their cozy café vibe and it’s a total win. Between the tasty food, friendly staff, and the bonus of browsing a bookstore right next door, Lemon Tree Café is the perfect place to grab lunch, meet a friend, or just enjoy a little “me time.” Highly recommend!

The kitchen is dirty. Proper cleaning of dishes is not followed. Sandwiches put on dirty pans to heat up. Brownies are from a box. They claim to have gluten free options but do not use different utensils for this, lots of cross contamination. Use dirty rags to wipe down tables and counters. Never saw employees wash hands.

Everything from here is absoultely phenomonal! We ordered catering for an office event. Chicken Taragon Salad, Chicken Pesto Salad (both Gluten Free), were delicious and raved about! For dessert, Gluten and dairy free brownies...so chocolaty and yummy, did not miss a thing! And lastly their incredible Lemon Bites, raises the bar for all lemon bars! Everyone there is so kind, efficient and helpfull...especially Joanne! YOU WILL BE SO HAPPY if you eat anything from here. A true treasure in downtown Historic Wake Forest
