The Lime Crab – Fish & Chips New Quay

Had fabulous Gluten Free Cod and Chips from here. The fish was really fresh, cooked to perfection and piping hot. They have a dedicated fryer for the GF Cod and separate utensils for serving. Gluten Free vinegar was available and the meal was served with a wedge of lemon and a pot of tartar sauce. The staff are knowledgeable about Gluten Free and the boxes had stickers on them aswell 😋

The Cod and chips are wonderful. All five of us enjoyed them except my Gluten Intolerant wife. Her batter was weird, orange coloured, hard not crispy and spoiled her meal. Everywhere else we go the gluten free batter is crispy, light and almost indistinguishable from the standard batter. WARNING to other Gluten intolerant diners. Otherwise splendid.
