The Lime Lounge Coffee House

Bought a gluten free sandwich from here today to take out. They had no buns so sliced bread only. It was hard and felt like previously it had been frozen. It was the greyest, hardest, most awful sandwich I have ever eaten. It cost £8 for what would have cost 1.50 to make (that’s me being generous). The girls working there were lovely but the place had no atmosphere either. This isn’t local to me but for gluten free it’s one to avoid 100%.

An exquisite little cafe where you can sit outside and enjoy lunch! Lots of options including gluten free meals and the owner even gave my friend a free slice of gf cake to try! I ate a Brie bacon and cranberry panini and a lemon drizzle cake both were delicious and the price was reasonable. We will be back on our next visit to Bakewell! Thank you!

Friendly service, extremely accommodating for a gluten and dairy intolerant person and was able to have a panini gluten free and dairy free which is hard to find! They also made a fabulous dairy free hot chocolate 10/10 :)
