The Lithgow Tin Shed

As a resident of the locale, The Tin Shed used to be "the" place to go for great coffee food and charm in Lithgow. Not any more. Went out as a treat for brekky with partner as he had forgotten he had wend off. I've been so busy with work, haven't been out for ages and so wasn't aware of change in management at The Tin Shed. Firstly if you were thinking fluffy pancakes for a change, forget it, there aren't any. New menu looks great, lists all as vego, gluten free and vegan options which is wonderful if you're a vego like me. But failed to deliver. Presentation was poor and the house made baked beans I'm sure we're out of a tin as I cook with them all the time, and then discovered what I think was a pork sausage after I told the wait staff " I am a vegetarian". Was so hungry as it was after 11am, I decided to remove the scantily chopped snag, pass it over to my non-vego partner and hope for the best. Partner had bacon and egg roll and said when it arrived " Is that my $20 egg and bacon roll". The wait staff would be good at a wake. Seriously, solemn faces and low energy. (Really, am sorry guys if you've lost someone in your inner circle). Had a great time as was out with partner for a change, but won't be back.

Have been here twice now, both times very accomodating and aware of coeliac disease food/drink is delicious would highly recommend
