The Little Lock

We called here yesterday for a late breakfast/early lunch. We sat outside on their lovely terrace which over looks the canal, it has just been taken over by new owners, there were outside heaters so we were nice and warm. I had a bacon butty and a hot chocolate and my hubby had a gluten free bacon butty and a pot of tea, plenty of bacon, the gluten free bread could have done with being warmed up a bit but they were very happy to receive this feedback, we also took a piece of gluten free carrot cake back home which my hubby assured me was delicious, I would come here again and I hope the business does well for them, it had a nice feel about it and on a sunny day I could sit on that terrace watching the world go by all day

A lovely hidden gem - fabulous sandwiches (gluten free options for sandwiches & cakes) & drinks. The beef and blue cheese sandwich is really tasty and the kids loved their calzone wraps (the bbq pork is recommended). Dog friendly. The terrace has views over the canal which are fabulous when the sun shines.
