I had a fantastic birthday afternoon tea at the Lock Tea Room.
We didn’t have a reservation and just turned up, even though they don’t take bookings on weekends, they were so accommodating and managed to fit our group of 13 without any trouble! The staff were warm and attentive, and the food was fantastic. My mum said the Ploughman’s was the best she’s ever had and my sister was especially happy with the gluten-free afternoon tea—she often says GF options can be hit and miss, but this one was a definite hit. A lovely, relaxed afternoon. Highly recommended!
