We booked The Lockoford Inn for a wake. It was easy to book and arrange. The gentleman who we spoke to was friendly and courteous and on the day of our funeral (16th March) we were so thankful for the beautiful buffet we were given. The tea and coffee was a lovely touch. The effort that had obviously gone into the day was appreciated and we were especially impressed by the separate plates for the vegetarians and for my daughter who has coeliacs so cannot eat any gluten. They were such generous portions. The young lady who worked the bar was pleasant, friendly and capable, having no problem dealing with the large drinks orders. Even taking a family photo for us. The venue was perfect for our gathering and even though we had a 2 year old who frequently jogged off, the staff were very considerate and allowed him free run. Thank you for your respect and hard work on our day of mourning.
