The Lodge Annapolis

As wonderful as the food was (and it was), and the atmosphere was so comfortable (and it was), the best part of our lunch at Annapolis Lodge was being served by Laura. She helped us with recommendations, made sure we never lacked for anything and made our afternoon very special. We ordered from the regular menu, gluten free menu and the special of the day. All three of us loved each of our choices. From the flaming crab dip to the excellent rose and the peanut butter pie, it was all delicious. It's not cheap but the value of the meal was evident in the food and service.

I recently had dinner here while staying at a hotel next door. The staff were all friendly and accommodating, but the food was absolutely terrible- tasteless and over cooked. Not meant gluten free options and they did not seem to be aware of what gluten actually is. Don’t recommend, and won’t be back.

My husband and I love doing appetizer/drink/dessert date nights and this place hit the spot! We started with the flaming crab dip and duck fat fries and then moved onto the short rib tacos (under the gluten free menu) and all 3 dishes were absolutely delicious. Husband got a smoke on the water cocktail and I got a watermelon mule drink and again, both were delicious. We finished with the NY raspberry cheesecake! Two thumbs up. Absolutely one of our new favorite places
