Wow! My parents and I came here while on vacation, and everything was amazing. The ambience, the food, the service - everything. Grassroots was also especially accommodating for my mom who has many dietary restrictions. Here are some specifics:
Like I said above, my mom is allergic to just about everything. Our waitress was incredibly accommodating to my mom's gluten/dairy/seasoning-free diet. She ended up with a delicious filet and a baked potato.
My dad ordered the "Almost Famous Porkchop" and after having a bite of it myself, I'm not entirely sure why it isn't famous yet.
I personally had a full-rack of their Carolina Baby Back Ribs. I've honestly grown so accustomed to being disappointed by ribs that I wasn't really looking forward to it. The menu is moderately small, and nothing else seemed to be jumping out at me, so I took a leap of faith myself to try the ribs. All I can say is "wow". I forgot that there was more to ribs than disappointment. These fell of the bone and tasted like Heaven.
TL;DR: Great everything. Incredibly accommodating to my mom's dietary restrictions. Reignited my love for BBQ Baby Back Ribs.
