The Mariner North Restaurant

Had dinner here during our stay in Copper Harbor because they had clearly marked gluten-free options. Food was actually great, but the service was not. It was “seat yourself.” We sat and waited about 15 minutes for someone to take our drink order. After placing our food order, we waited about 45 minutes for food. We didn’t see our waiter at all and thought maybe he left and forgot about us. When we did get our food, it was hot and tasted good.

Everything about this place is so amazing!! we were lucky enough to get Colleen as our waitress! she was spectacular! I am gluten free/dairy free and there was soooooo many great options for me it was like heaven because most restaurants don’t offer this! We can’t wait to come back next time! the food was so good and Colleen was very understanding and careful when it came to getting me gluten free for my order!

Service is king here. They hire very friendly and competent exchange students from Eastern Europe. We had fish dip as an appetizer and it was delicious as always. We’ve been here before. My wife had a gluten free whitefish meal and I ordered baked whitefish, although I swear it was trout. Anyway. All was delicious. We come here every year.
