I’d rate this place 10/10. We recently stayed at the Mayflower for a local wedding and would say it was amazing value for money! The rooms were lovely. The family room was perfect for our 2 daughters, the hotel provided a cot for our baby and a single bed for our daughter. The room was really big and had a bath and shower which was ideal. The staff were really lovely. The breakfast was incredible with gluten free options. It was in a lovely spot! We would definitely return.

Nice food - loved the gluten free fish and chips but others thought the fish pie was mediocre

Beautiful building with lovely garden space, excellent drinks and very warm attentive service. The food was pretty good and they were able to cater for gluten allergy. The gluten-free calamari was especially good, the veggie burgers and the lamb kofta were also pretty nice. Avoid the broccoli fergola starter...none of us enjoyed it.
