I took 1 star off of 5 because there really needs to be better ventilation. With 8 people, it took forever to cook our own entrees, so we had food continually cooking on the cast iron for an extended period of time and we were choking on the smoke. In hindsight, I would go just for appetizers (cheese fondue, bread, veggies, apples) and dessert. Cooking the entree, while part of the experience, was very frustrating with so many of us. I would stick to 2-4 people. And maybe just do 2 courses. It is a lot of food, and you pay so much to feel sick leaving. Also, with a table of 8, you get 2 burners, so everyone has to agree on what to share. It was frustrating for us to figure out what type of cheese, how to cook the entrees, and what type of chocolate to choose. I'm not going to give this place less stars because of my preferences, though.
The gluten free options were GREAT! Of course there were plenty of vegetables and fruits, but also GF bread, snickerdoodles, and brownies. I was in Heaven! I have a lot of food allergies, and they were very accommodating.
The service was excellent! Our server was very patient, answered all of our questions, and walked us through ordering for the first time. He was very helpful to us and very polite when he had to repeat himself multiple times because us first-timers were so confused!
I will definitely go again, but probably just for the appetizer course and/or the dessert course.
