Sadly a dissapointing meal. The staff were friendly and, on checking, the main Sunday roast did have a gluten free option. After good recommendations my hopes were raised... GF cauliflower cheese, gravy and yorkshire puds... should be good.
But thats where it all started to fall apart. The veg (served separately) came out a good 10 minutes after our meals, with the cauliflower cheese another 5 minutes later and only after asking if it was being served. Maybe they were busy.
I didn't have a starter as I like desserts, and was dissapointed to find the only GF option was a chef special that the waitress advised should not have been advertised at the table, as it was last weeks special. They offered me a choice of brownie ....or brownie.
My friend who has a nut allergy asked the waitress for info, each time she had to go to the kitchen for advice. In the end, no dessert for her either. So......if you have anyone in your party who has specific medical dietry needs, even though common, this is not an eatery you should consider.
