Highly enjoyed experience, first time visiting The Mitre. I have restricted dietary requirements which were handed well. Though I like to see a non-alcoholic gluten & lactose free beer option that’s not a cider. Try dig drop DDH pale or Drop bear beer.
Our server Rheanna was excellent and credit to your establishment, the experience should not have been the same without her.

Only popped in for a drink but ended up staying for a light lunch. Very good menu catering for vegans as well as vegetarians with some gluten-free options on their menus too. Cost is about what you would expect for this tuoe of venue. 1 pint, half pint, 2 vegan sandwiches and side order of fries was £20. Beautiful views and an outside seating area allowing a feeling of genuine space. Dog friendly. Very atmospheric with some nice real ales on offer as well as the usual lagers and spirits. Evening dining menu also. Staff appear quite young, but very warm and friendly. I would go there again
