The Modern Parksville is a lot like its sister restaurant in Nanaimo. Service was quick and friendly, the atmosphere was cozy and modern and the food was outstanding. We had pasta and a bowl and both were delicious. I’m celiac, and I had plenty of options. Seating was a bit small (we are short-tall people watch out for the booths) but fine for the short duration of dinner. The Nanaimo bar cheesecake was delicious, and gluten free!
