We went yesterday for a meal, there were 4 people, I am gluten free. I was disappointed that the chips weren't gluten free. I ordered a small gluten free gammon. When my meal came instead of new potatoes I had chips. I queried that I had chips which were not gluten free. I told the waitress I had ordered a gluten free gammon and was told that she hadn't written it on the order hence the kitchen was unaware I needed gluten free. I didn't even receive an apology even though I would have been quite ill if I had eaten the chips. Also we ordered a lemon and lime which we were charged £3.90 for the lemonade and 45p for the lime. The food was good quality and very enjoyable but unfortunately the lunch was ruined by being served a meal containing gluten which should never have happened. An apology would have been nice.
