The Mount Edgcumbe

Great hotel. We went for the smaller double room but while the room was compact was very comfortable and well appointed. The room very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom great with a really good shower unit. The breakfast was good but the dinners were delicious. We had family around for dinner at the restaurant on our last and they weren't disappointed. There was a good choice for vegans and gluten free and the staff were friendly, competent, efficient. Definitely recommend and will stay again when next back in Tunbridge Wells.

I'm well travelled with restaurant's this is a fantastic place. But I feel the Gluten Free Menu could improve quite a lot. The food was very minimal for myself as most of you who follow my blogs with celiac disease will understand. Sunday lunch could easily offer gluten free Yorkshire pudding and gluten free stuffing improvements for starters and dessert. Great for non suffers, but there's thousands of us out there that do.
