My wife and I had the “taster” meal recently. Of the 6 dishes we had, I have to say honestly I thought the food was only just ok. Some of the dishes I felt just did not work (at least in my opinion), for example the scollop in a curry based sauce. Just too overly powerful curry flavour. Scollops are such a delicious and delicate flavour on its own. My wife is also gluten intolerant and while this did not impact her having the same number of courses she was offered just shop based gluten bread and for dessert they gave the normal dessert but minus the sponge which made her dessert not particularly good. For a high class restaurant I would have expected more.I also thought if honest the noise level was high, the restaurant could do with some sound softening measures. Pity as we were really looking forward to visiting this restaurant.
