5 stars from me is pretty rare, if I've ever done it. And truthfully, all things being equal, I suspect I would give them 4. But they were also very attentive and very accommodating to our celiac guest, that really, they deserve every bit of the 5 stars. The atmosphere is really nice. I'm not typically an atmosphere guy, perhaps because the traditional ones don't really do it for me. This is more like a house, turned into a restaurant, so you don't really feel like you are directly being served. Onto the food. Most things that hit the table were either quite good or very good. The pork chop was really quite excellent. The lamb, for which I am bit of a fan, was good. My only complaint is that the herb-crusting needs to complement the meat more. It was good, but it was more like a side dish in it's flavor with the lamb. The prawns and pesto pasta was quite good, though $40+ is a bit steep for that dish. Crab cakes were interesting, good, but not great. It's tough to get me to agree that everything any restaurant serves is great, so don't take my critiques too harshly. It's good food, a smidgeon pricey, and the accommodation for our guest was excellent. Well done. We'll be back.
