Great gluten free choices and pie of the day was amazing with a very generous portion

Really disappointed with the food here today. Five of us had a lunchtime meal here. We would have complained but we were with some colleagues and it was very awkward. Out of five meals not one was good. Gluten free fish and chips, looked great when it came, batter like sponge inside and fat used left unpleasant taste. Pie of the day and mash, burnt on edge and dry pie, horrible mash. Double ribs rack, salad and onion rings. Onion rings like sponge or donuts, salad ok, ribs dry with no sauce. Liver and bacon with mash. Liver passable, mash as before. Pork belly , greasy and bad taste. Waitress quite aloof and straight faced. Wait long and pub not busy. Will not be back !
