Have just had supper at The Old Black Lion and what a treat. The ambience and welcome took the chill off a cold October evening, the food was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious, the service was friendly and efficient, just as it should be. My dairy and gluten free needs were not a problem and I can't wait to come back on our next visit to Hay.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I'm lactose and gluten intolerant. There is a good choice and the chef was able to adapt some of the meals. Delicious and good portion sizes. Highly recommended 😀
