The Old George Inn

We went to this pub with my 4 and 2 year old kids as it was suggested by its sister pub Royal Oak which was fully booked. It was a lovely place and as busy at It could get. We ordered food and had gluten free options as well. However, the food came very late, more than 1 hour after placement of order. I complained to the pub manager, Henry, about the delay especially as our kids were grumpy and complaining. Henry was very kind with us and truly understands the value of customers. He apologised for the delay and offered everything on the house. There is no reason why I shouldn't visit this pub again in the future. A bad day can happen, no worries. Knowing how to deal with it and showing that you care about customers no matter what is a huge plus. Many thanks Henry for your professionalism and attitude. We will see you soon again! Andreas
