It was my birthday so I made the most of their $25 birthday coupon plus free sweet pancake deal (sign up via the website). I had to get the most absurd item in the menu: lasagna where the pasta is pancake layers instead. Really yum and perfectly balanced by the fresh salad. Dessert was “IT” (a name that was surely invented in the 60s when the chain first opened) that features hot buttered walnuts, grilled banana and cinnamon - again very good. Especially loved the buttered walnuts. Also tried a sample of the gluten free blueberry pancakes with whipped butter - delicious. This one opened in 1978 and I love that the decor is unchanged.
