The Parlour Tearoom

Absolutely fantastic little place , my party had various food allergy requirements and this was handled perfectly by the staff who were thorough to check ingredients in things and just check back with us making sure everything was right. It was cozy and welcoming with lots of choice esp gluten free . Food came out quickly and was delicious! Cakes looked fantastic. My lunch was all gluten free and I had a really good coffee with oat milk . Already booked to go again .

Wow! Last weekend nine of us attended a baby shower at the tearoom. We prebooked and we all ordered afternoon tea. From the beginning to the end of the visit was amazing. We were welcomed by a very friendly waitress who took our order. Two of the party were Coeliac (gluten free) and they had put aside slices of cake for us incase we wanted it. The sandwiches were excellent especially the gluten free. They can be dry and tasteless but these were full of filling and perfect. The gluten free scones were the best you could get. They didn't crumble and you were able to spread jam and cream easily. The carrot cake was lovely too. Moist, tasty and didn't crumble. The other guests enjoyed their afternoon teas as well. A huge variety of sandwiches and cakes. Friendly staff throughout. We weren't rushed at all. We were able to sit back and relax. Even at the end we were all paying separately and one of us cleared the payment. The waitress excepted the apology and sorted it for us. One of the reviews mentioned that this place was as good as places in London. I honestly have to agree. Perfect from beginning to the end. We will all be returning in the future.
