The Pawn Shop on Granville Street is hands down the best Mexican taco and tequila bar in downtown Vancouver! The East L.A inspired decor, with hand-painted graffiti walls and cozy benches, sets a fantastic atmosphere right from the start. Their happy hour deals are incredible, with tacos for $2.49 and drinks for $4.95. I had their feature cocktail, the Island Boy, and the alcohol-free Spiked Los Flamingos fishbowl. Both were huge and tasted amazing! I tried the chicken tinga tacos, Jefe Tacos Baja, and Coconut Shrimp on Fuego, and each one was packed with flavor. The cheesy tots, taquitos, jalapeno poppers, and churro donuts were all outstanding. The cheesy tots, which are vegetarian and gluten-free, were the perfect pairing with my drinks. Beyond the delicious food and drinks, The Pawn Shop offers a lively and friendly atmosphere that makes the entire experience unforgettable. Definitely a top spot in Vancouver that I highly recommend! 🌮🍹🔥
