The Pizza People

We were the only people in there tonight and seemingly no take away business either. Nice decor and a small Christmas tree. Attentive, friendly service. The menu was hard to read. It seems to have been an attempt at looking rustic. Also no explanation of some of the less obvious menu items and had to ask, which not everybody likes to do. Gluten free pizza was tasty. My regular dough pizza however, was very sloppy. The base was so thin, it was like a crepe. But the base was soggy. I couldn't really ask for ot to be done more, as the sides would have burnt, as thet were done the most they could be. Disappointing overall 😕

Love this place, it's a great find. There are lots of chain pizza restaurants on this high street but I would always pick this place which is a gem! Great food, lovely authentic ambience, excellent prices. I have been here many times! Recently I went with my partner who is gluten free (coeliac) and they serve amazing gluten free pizza! It's really hard to find good gluten free pizza (according to my partner). This is important to me as pizza is for sharing, so even though I am not gluten free, I have finally found a place where me and my partner can share a gluten-free pizza that tastes amazing!
