One of my favorite restaurants in Buffalo. They can pretty much make anything gluten-free. Although everything is great, the lobster mac & cheese is not always consistent. Lately the cheese & cream has been Overkill. It used to have a perfect ratio of pasta, cheese and lobster.. The last time I dined there I got two tiny pieces of lobster.. they should have a certain amount that they put into each dish automatically I guess. The french fries are perfectly crispy and delicious along with the mussels, stuffed mushrooms and just about everything else I tried. More importantly, the atmosphere is a long time favorite and so nostalgic as I grew up in the city and have known this place my whole life. The tall bartender with the buzz cut and black glasses makes some of the best cocktails in WNY and not to mention is one of the nicest bartenders, always friendly and accommodating. I always make it a point to sit on that side of the bar lol

What a fabulous place. A neighborhood gathering spot with top notch food. Sat at the bar on a Wednesday night as they were busy. Beef on weck was large and delicious My wife had one of the BEST gluten free Reuben sandwich ever. The rye bread was huge. Was told the owners is gluten free. Well worth a visit Great beers on tap include a German imported I had never had. Gebel I believe Bartenders are are wonderful
