It's been two years since we've been able to visit the Plough and it was worth the six hour round trip for an anniversary meal. The food and service is incredible. Nothing is too much trouble. Dairy free and gluten free meals are indistinguishable from everyone else's. Jane and her team are well worth a visit, would give six stars if I could. It's really that good!

My hubby and I made a much needed visit to The Plough for dinner. The Plough is our favourite restaurant, it never disappoints! Hats off to the whole team; while being strictly COVID compliant, we received our usual warm welcome. The food was delicious, the scallop starter was to die for, the pork belly mains melted in the mouth. I hugely appreciated the gluten free mini sourdough loaf great addition to the menu! Delicious desserts.....yes it really was a fantastic meal.
A real treat during these difficult times.
