Coeliac served with Gluten. Can’t trust the GF Menu. We’re sad to have to write a negative review for this place as we wanted to love it. We visited the night before our lunch to ensure that they can cater for strictly gluten free due to Coeliac Disease, and were assured everything was prepared separately to avoid cross-contamination. Despite ordering for our total family from the Gluten Free Menu, we were served bread that looked and felt normal. When we asked, the waiter advised it was Gluten Free. Luckily the non Coeliac sufferers tried it, and since it didn’t taste gluten free we asked the waitress who had take our order. She checked and confirmed it was NOT gluten free. To be served with Gluten when you order form the Gluten-Free menu (and have had a conversation about her Coeliac Disease) and to be told it’s GF when it arrives, is not only disappointing but dangerous for our daughter. Naturally we wonder about the rest of the food she had already consumed, and won’t be able to trust eating here again.
