The Preston

I booked the hotel to hold my father’s wake as it was close to the Yeovil Crematorium. The staff were incredibly helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean, modern and comfortable. There was a member of my group who was a coeliac and a vegetarian and they personally rang her to check her food requirements and then at the reception her food came on a cake tier beautifully presented. The food was good value and there was so much. It was all of a very good standard particularly the lemon cake which had been baked by a staff member and was delicious- I had four slices it was so good. After having to say goodbye to my father, coming to this hotel and being made to feel so special and welcomed ( including personalised directions to park). I thoroughly recommend this hotel for any function or to stay.

Clean and tidy hotel staff very friendly, polite and helpful. Breakfast good can get what you want including gluten free. Bar snacks good. Location very accessible to lots of places of interest only a 10-15 mins stroll to the town centre.
