The Pub at Brentwood Bay Resort

Last night’s experience was truly disappointing. The food I ordered fell far below expectations. I opted for the Mediterranean salad, adding the $9 Harissa chicken, but what I received was far from satisfactory. The cauliflower rice in the salad was still frozen! As for the chicken, it was tough, and each of the three bites I took contained either hard or fatty pieces. It seemed like a frozen chicken breast hastily grilled or microwaved, with just a smear of harissa on it. For a total of $29, I ended up with a plate of lettuce, olives, tomatoes, tzatziki, and hummus. To make matters worse, on a Saturday evening—not even late—they had already run out of desserts, including the gluten-free and vegan cheesecake and the handheld apple pie. This left very few options available. My cocktail was whisked away before I could finish it, while all ten empty glasses remained cluttering the table. When the desserts finally arrived, we were asked if we needed cutlery. It seems only logical to bring utensils when serving a scoop of gelato on a plate or caramel-covered beignets! It's truly unfortunate, as we used to be fond of this place.

Love the pub. Love the restaurant too. Chefs at both are able to adjust menu for gluten and dairy. My favorite pub dish is the fish Tacos (I opt for unattended and corn tortillias.) The view is fabulous and there is a seasonal patio too.
