The Quarterhouse

Really cute little place with great tables and art on the walls. Order a few great small plates with my friend but we're blown away by the courgette dish of all things. The prawns and other bits were fantastic but honestly you need to order the courgette. Lots of gluten free options too including local beer.

The venue was advertised as can accommodate gluten free customers, on ordering I explained I was coeliac and was told no problem they serve gluten free ingredients to cater for my requirements, I ordered a steak small meal on receiving it my wife said she could smell vinegar, I questioned this and was told no vinegar used. On eating the meal I said I could now taste vinegar but was told if vinegar was used it was gluten free basmati. All I can say is on returning to the holiday park I was stopping at and not eating anywhere else but the quarter house I am now a pair of jeans shy and the embarrassment I had to with draw will never leave my thoughts. I will honestly say I would not recommend this venue to any coeliac member or venture to the facility again. ONE VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER 🤬
