The Quay Restaurant

I have never eaten there but would love to do so. However, need a gluten-free menu item. Not asking for too much.....just an entree or two to choose from. Even french fries can be made gluten-free if you don't deep fry them in the same oil with battered food. This restaurant does not indicate any gluten-free items so I can only assume it does not want to cater to gluten-free customers. So, I pass on doing business here.

Lovely place to dine on a Friday evening. Service was wonderful though as a visitor to Newfoundland I have found the service all over to be so refreshing just makes you feel at home. I had the 2 piece fish with beet salad and it was the perfect serving size. The beet salad was amazing. My partner had the pan fried cod as he is gluten free and he loved it. His mom had 1 piece fish and chips also enjoyed. We noticed someone having onion rings at another table. Biggest onion rings we’ve ever seen! Will definitely be back on our next trip to Newfoundland!
