The Queens Arms

So my experience here was really mixed. The food was wonderful and there were lots of gluten free options to choose from on the menu. But sadly the service is where this place faltered. It was like they couldn't decide if they wanted to be a pub or have table service. When we asked if they were still serving food we got told the menus are over there and they just pointed. We went to the bar to order drinks which was fine, but then we found out they take food orders at the table. But if you want to order more drinks or anything else (like dessert), we had to either go back to the bar to be told they would come over to us or we had to flag down someone to do this. We asked for the bar and it was another 40 minutes or until we paid because no one came back and again we had to flag down one of the staff. I'd really love to recommend this place for the food, but if you are expecting good service maybe try somewhere else.

Fantastic service. Before we even sat down I was asked if we had an allergies. Then pointed out the details on the menu to indicate GF or options to make it GF. Safe were knowledgable on celiac too ensuring the kitchen knew of my allergy too.

Great for gluten free people! Their fish and chips are gluten free!! They also have GF beer
