The Red Deer

I am adding to my review having now eaten at The Red Deer. The welcome was very warm! - both Matt the Deputy Mananger and Sharker our waitress were so friendly and made us all feel very at ease, which created a lovely relaxed atmoshere! The food was every bit as fabulous as I was hoping for and more. I really appreciated the efforts that Paddy the Manager, Matt and the chef all went to to ensure there were some vegetarian gluten free options for me to enjoy and the chef even made a blackberry free apple crumble as requested! My initial contact with the Red Deer was a phone call with Lauren to discuss my menu options. Lauren was also very friendly and helpful and at no point was I made to feel that I was being a nuisance or a fussy eater! I would highly recommend a visit to the Red Deer and I will definitely be returning. Worth the 20 mile drive to Horsham! I haven't actually been to the Red Deer yet, but they have been absolutely brilliant with my dietry requirements and are even making a gluten free apple crumble without the blackberries as they are the one food I really don't like! Very friendly and helpful on the phone too! I am looking forward to going next week for a work do and and I'm sure the food will be just as good as the service so far!

Excellent service and some very different menu options, including gluten-free. We need one in Exeter!
