The Refinery

Attended an event at the Banks last night. It was catered by the Refinery. They went above and beyond to accommodate my son who has celiac ! Thank you Betty Jo who personally saw that he was taken care of and hand delivered his food table side instead of buffet style from the salad to dessert! Chef even prepared a gluten free pasta for him ! I can't thank you enough for your attentiveness and accommodation to allow him to have the most enjoyable evening at his special event! They clearly understand the risks of cross contamination and food allergies! Looking forward to dining at the Refinery in the near future!

Really enjoyed what The Refinery has to offer. Our server Cassidy was spot on with all of her suggestions and really helped with choices that are celiac friendly. We will probably ask for her again when we come in because she added to the experience. They have a good wine list that stays true to the theme of the restaurant. The food is the real star of this place though. We started with the meat and cheese board and the chilled shrimp. Everything tasted so light and fresh, and even the Pickled veggies were perfectly paired and balanced with the rest of the board. The Shortrib was perfectly cooked and the right amount of food. The trofie seafood pasta (we got gluten free) was delicious and the vodka sauce was perfectly made to still allow the seafood to shine in this meal. Finally the lemon tart was amazing! The meringue is the best I've ever had, and the dessert as a whole was perfect. We will definitely be back again!
